Dr. Beverly Ferrucci Professor of Mathematics Keene State College

The New Hampshire College & University Council annually participates in the New Hampshire Excellence in Higher Education Awards, informally known as the “ED”ies awards. The selection for Outstanding Teaching in Postsecondary Education Award is a competitive process which involves nominees from the various colleges which are members of the New Hampshire College & University Council.

Dr. Beverly Ferrucci, Professor of Mathematics at Keene State College was selected to receive the 2011 Outstanding Teaching in Postsecondary Education Award.  Dr. Ferrucci has had a distinguished career as a teacher, scholar and leader in the field of mathematics.  As a mathematics educator, Dr. Ferrucci has written dozens of articles on the effective teaching of math.  She has travelled extensively and internationally to speak on math education and the effective preparation of math teachers.  Most importantly, though, Dr. Ferrucci is a master teacher who truly transforms the lives of her students.
