 Guidance Counselor Tour Group
The 2009 Spring Guidance Counselor Tour has been cancelled.
Our fall tour will be October 18 - 22.
Registration will be available soon. Once again, the admissions directors of the consortium schools will offer a week-long tour program for high school guidance counselors to learn more about the academic offerings, campus atmosphere, campus life, and the admission requirements of each college. The tour is also available to a limited number of college transfer counselors and independent counselors.
There is a $100 deposit to participate in this program, which will be refunded at the end of the tour, but you must commit to the entire week. Lodging, tour transportation to and from campuses, and meals are all provided. Because you'll return to the same hotel each evening, you can unpack when you arrive and relax for the rest of the week!
You will travel by coach bus to the colleges, get a feel for the campus and the surrounding geographical area, hear from admissions officers, students and faculty, and have an opportunity to ask many questions! An added benefit is the chance to interact with your colleagues, and discuss the issues facing college admissions and college counseling today.
