Campus CompactCampus Compact for New Hampshire

Founded in 1997, Campus Compact for New Hampshire is a statewide consortium of college and university presidents and private sector partners who are united in their commitment to the civic purposes of higher education. CCNH’s mission is to be a catalyst to integrate community service and civic responsibility throughout the academic and student life goals of its member institutions.

Americorps VistaAmeriCorps Vista

VISTA is a national service program dedicated to eliminating poverty by helping individuals and low-income communities make positive changes for themselves.

VISTA members focus on two major goals:

  • To meet the needs of low-income communities by improving access to higher education as well as ensuring success for low-income individuals enrolled in higher education.
  • Strategize to recruit, train and sustain college and community volunteers to serve in small and faith based community organizations that serve low-income populations.

State Scholars InitiativeNew Hampshire Scholars

New Hampshire Scholars is a community-based program that encourages students to take a more rigorous Core Course of Study in high school. It is based on a partnership between a community’s local chamber of commerce and its school district.

New Hampshire Scholars is part of the National State Scholars Initiative Network administered by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).

The Center for College Planning provides parents and students with the information, materials and guidance they need to begin the process of applying for college admission and financial aid. CTP offers free services and materials for every population. The Center for College Planning provided over 450 workshops and presentations to more than 30,000 students and parents last year.

  • Individualized college counseling
  • Specialized lists of colleges that match search criteria
  • Calculation of your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) for financial aid purposes
  • Access to career surveys and popular college majors
  • Assistance filing complicated financial aid paperwork

University System of New HampshireUniversity System of New Hampshire

Founded in 1963 to oversee the four public higher education institutions that comprise the University System of New Hampshire, USNH’s four-fold mission is to be truly student oriented; truly committed to excellence in selected programs and services; make efficient and effective use of the System resources through strategic partnerships; and be a valued partner to the people and communities of NH. The USNH institutions – the University of New Hampshire, Plymouth State University, Keene State College, and Granite State College, serve the educational needs of more than 30,000 students a year and award over half of the bachelors’ degrees in New Hampshire annually.
