The Libraries Committee meets regularly to improve resource sharing and to devise ways to avoid costly duplication, manage the Interlibrary Delivery System providing access to holdings from most member institutions and the State Library, pursue joint purchasing opportunities and provide inter-institutional professional development.

The NHCUC maintains an inter-campus delivery system, which links member academic libraries and provides students and faculty access to most member collections. More than 140,000 items are transported among the libraries annually. Member institutions participated in a joint library database purchasing program that leveraged in excess of $500,000 in purchasing dollars, resulting in a saving in excess of $65,000 had the databases been purchased individually.
